Vann Molyvann (1928 – 2016), the famous Cambodian architect, who was facing the destruction of some of his artistic works in his last years of life, expressed – before his death –his love for his country and his faith in the young generation.

After one year of Nakupenda, hope and despair, we still don’t know the goals of Nakupenda but we still hear the voice and the tears in the voice of Vann Molyvann.

Our modern world has sometimes forgotten his history, driven by the flow of the industrialization and it’s high time to come back to the roots of our history and our humanity…

Thanks to our more than 200 volunteers, Nakupenda has become Nakupenda, a new concept where arts, permaculture, natural building and so one work together…

Kali, painted recently in Nakupenda, is not only the goddess of destruction, but also the goddess of Earth Mother… May her give the energy to follow our dreams and peaceful mind…

Back to the Roots – the famous song –  has become our slogan !!!! Nakupenda Phum Chanti / the village of the cashews thank you all of you, to support our project …
